Hi, my name is Anita Ragland, owner, and breeder of All About Me Heart Throb Miniature American Shepherds. I was born and raised in Missouri. I currently live in Bella Vista, Arkansas. I’ve lived in the “Ozarks” area of Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma most of my life. I was raised on a farm in Southwest Missouri, and I have always been an animal lover. I’ve always had dogs, cats, and other critters in my life. My goal is to produce the best Miniature American Shepherd puppies that will be your best friend! I have been raising Miniature American Shepherds in my home for the last four years. I bought my first “Mini” or “MAS” Aero in 2016. She was from Champion Conformation show dog bloodlines and marked so beautifully! Aero is by far, the smartest dog that I have ever owned, she holds all 3 CGC titles, and holds several AKC Trick Dog Titles. She stole my heart at first sight and there is no other breed that I would want to have as my best companion. My husband and I currently have 4 Minis in our home. We have three generations of Minis. I have kept the pick of the litter female from 3 litters to improve my breeding line. I have hand-selected each sire from many that were available from all over the country to breed with my females. I only raise one litter per year. All my girls are current on all vaccinations, have been DNA testing, and have had their hip and elbow certifications. I do not have a “kennel”, and I certainly do not run a “puppy mill”! My dogs are born, raised, live and are given so much love in my home. I can honestly say that I give each puppy individual attention and training every day until they are placed with their forever families at 8-10 weeks. I strive hard to make our babies one of the most loving, gentle, and socialized puppies you will own. They are all well on their way to being potty trained, leash trained, and introduced to all basic commands at 8-10 weeks old. I take them for rides in the car and expose them to different environments, and textures so that they are comfortable in their new homes. They are all introduced to grooming including bathing, blow-drying, brushing, and nail trimming with clippers and rotary tools. All the puppies are current on all age-appropriate vaccines. All puppies come with a wellness puppy certificate from my veterinarian and a health guarantee. I feel my past puppies’ forever families are the best of the best, they have given the puppies the greatest homes with lots of love, care, and training! They are part of our family; I keep close contact with all my past babies. With only three litters so far, a total of 17 puppies. I do have one incredible dog that holds all CGC Titles, Advance Trick Dog Title, Obedience, Rally, and Agility titles. Jett is co-owned; he is amazing, as they ALL are in my eyes! Venus one of my girls earned her puppy Championship in Conformation ring very early. Now that she has had puppies we hope to start back soon. My Kiki Dee has also been in the Conformation ring, and is an amazing frisbee dog, along with her mother Aero. All of my girls, except for the baby, have completed their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Title. Aero my foundation girl holds several Trick Dog Titles and took part in Barn Hunt fanatics. The Miniature American Shepherd is a very well-rounded easily trainable breed. They are just so darn easy to LOVE! I do not ship my precious babies as cargo on a plane, but I will ship them with a very trusted puppy caretaker by ground or air. I am always available for my babies, with any questions or concerns.
